Some of you may have noticed I’ve been a little lax about posting these past summer months. It’s been a busy time for us-and while I’ve been busy working on new material, my attention has also been on the other aspects of life as well.
None of that will be of much interest to the casual comics reader browsing this website, so I’ll get right down to the nitty-gritty:
On Monday, Sept. 3rd-I’ll be launching a brand-new website: plasticbabyheads.com –featuring–guess who? Plastic Babyheads from Outer Space! For the entire month of September I’ll be posting a strip a day-beginning with babyheads no. 50–so that by the end of the month there will be new stuff and in October we’ll be back to a twice weekly schedule.(The previous 49 strips will be up there also –in the archive)
I decided that if I’m going to do a webcomic, I might as well really do a webcomic—and so I’m re-running some stuff that will allow a new reader to get into it-and hopefully, material that may not have been seen to its best advantage will be up there quick enough to grab an older reader in a way it may not have previously. It is an epic, after all. !!!!
As for this site-my plans are unclear. My life is changing a bit-I’m taking over as chair of the Adelphi Art Department this fall. So I think I’m going to try-at least in the beginning—to streamline my creative life a little and focus on one thing at a time. For now, “Babyheads” is it. I hope you’ll follow along. It’ll be worth it, I promise you. See you Monday!!!
